]]> The Ballarat Society of Model Engineers Incorporated was established 1985 and celebrated its 21st in 2006
Members interests cover all aspects of Model Engineering including

  • Locomotives ( steam, petrol & electric)
  • Traction Engines,
  • Stationary Engines ( steam, petrol, multi cylinder)
  • Boats.

The Society has a track located north of Ballarat in Swinglers Road at the Invermay Recreation Reserve.

The track has 3½”, 5″ and 7¼” gauges, is over 600m long.

The Society does not currently have public running, private running is on the first Saturday of each month.
